The UMMBC Student Ministry exists to Reach Pre-Christians students, to Connect them with other Christians, to help them Grow in their faith, and to challenge those growing to Discover their calling in ministry and Honor God with their lives.
UMMBC envisions that students will be encouraged and will encourage each other to develop their God given gifts.
Core Values that drive our ministry:
The Junior Ushers is a Ministry for children in 3rd-5th grade. We usher at the 11:00 Service on the 2nd Sunday in each month. The Ministry offers an important service to the congregation of the church that allows the UMMBC Junior Ushers to serve in the capacity of leadership and the responsibility of leadership as they mature and serve the Lord through later years of their lives. Practice is held at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the main sanctuary of the Church on the Saturday before the second Sunday.
