Core Values that drive our ministry:

Our Ministries:
Junior Ushers
The Junior Ushers is a Ministry for children in 3rd-5th grade. We usher at the 11:00 Service on the 2nd Sunday in each month. The Ministry offers an important service to the congregation of the church that allows the UMMBC Junior Ushers to serve in the capacity of leadership and the responsibility of leadership as they mature and serve the Lord through later years of their lives. Practice is held at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the main sanctuary of the Church on the Saturday before the second Sunday.

Youth Ushers
Provides a training environment for United Metropolitan's middle and high school youth as they assist in the orderly conduct of church services by greeting and seating worshippers. We usher at the 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM services on the 4th Sunday in each month. Rehearsals are held on the third Sundays immediately following the worship service in the Sanctuary.
Voice of Praises (Youth Choir)
The Voices of Praise choir provides an opportunity for 6th- 12th graders to make a joyful noise to the Lord through the ministry of song. The Voices of Praise choir rehearses every Wednesday at 6:30 P.M. in the Music Room. All students are welcomed to join. For info please contact Mrs. Pam Anthony at 336-577-6727.
